Does Ring Fit Adventure worth it? ›

Ring Fit Adventure has made exercising…fun!

This game really sucks you into the adventure world and you have nothing but fun as you blow up boxes, collect coins and boost yourself over fallen trees. And all the while, you're using muscles that have most likely not been used in a while. As I said, genius!

When focusing on the main objectives, Ring Fit Adventure is about 36 Hours in length.

To move a cursor: Hold the Ring-Con like a steering wheel, then tilt it from side to side or raise it up and down. To confirm a selection: Hold the Ring-Con by the grips on the sides, then press them inwards. To cancel a selection: Hold the Ring-Con by the grips on the sides, then pull them outwards.

I am WAY more fit since buying this game and I 100% recommend it to anyone. I have never liked to run in any setting. There have been times when I've enjoyed other types of exercising, but before buying this game I was doing 0 mins a day.

What Ring Fit Adventure brings to the table is the right balance between exercising and enjoying a game. By turning each squat and sit-up into a move to beat the bad guys, this game is the perfect way to jumpstart your journey to getting fit and losing some pounds in the process.

It's good cardio but don't expect any gains from it. Wii sports games aren't intended as workouts, ring fit actually is a full cardio workout that targets muscle groups. It's a ton of cardio since you physically jog in place to move your character forward. You won't be able to do that sitting.

Additional Information: Multitask Mode allows players to work out using only the Ring-Con accessory, without the need for a Nintendo Switch screen. Enabling this mode records the number of presses and pulls you do with the Ring-Con while you watch television or do other activities.

I can't tell you that Ring Fit Adventure is a proper substitute for going to the gym or a way to really get in shape. What I can say is this: it's a polished, fun game that feels like a real workout, and, for me, it became a way I could almost seamlessly fit physical activity into my life.

By using the Joy-Con sensor as well, it can also detect a variety of other movements, including vertical/horizontal shaking and tilting. Measure your pulse after exercising, using the Joy-Con (R) IR Motion Camera^*.

Ring Fit Adventure allows you to mix up your routine by providing a variety of exercises that target different areas of the body. With lots of mini-games and activities available, you're sure never to get bored as you tone up various body parts like your arms, legs, and abs!

The ring and leg band are far more effective at directing you into proper exercises. Some exercises are easier, more cheatable than others, but even easy stuff can be felt after 30 mins of play. Wii Fit had some cool mini games and made good use of the board, but it first and foremost was just an exercise tool.

Workouts aren't always too fun, but Ring Fit Adventure offers a fun gaming spin on it to liven things up, and that certainly helps! While it's important to have one or two rest days a week, stay consistent by playing at the very least a level or so about five days a week.
